Bulletproof steel plate F601
Bulletproof steel plate F601 belongs to the F60X series, which is a CrNiMo thin matrix bulletproof steel with strength class from 1700 MPa to 2200 MPa. It is mainly used in the fields of special vehicle protection, personal protection, construction facilities and fortifications.
Delivery status: The delivery condition of the F601 bulletproof steel plate is quenched + tempered. The delivered steel plate is sheared or thermally cut edges, and raw products can also be provided according to the agreement. If the product contact temperature exceeds 150℃, the performance at the time of delivery cannot be guaranteed.
Processing performance: When bending is required, F601 steel bulletproof steel plate is recommended to use an arc cutter with a diameter greater than 4 times the plate thickness (d≥4t); F602 steel is not recommended for bending, and d≥8t is required for cold bending. Carbide or HSS cutters can be used for drilling. At room temperature, laser, waterjet, oxygen-acetylene or plasma can be used to cut, but the heat affected zone will reduce the anti-ballistic performance of the steel plate.
Welding performance: It is recommended to use 371 special welding wire with high purity and crack resistance and the recommended welding process. The protective performance of the weld will be significantly reduced, which can be compensated by spot welding the backplane.
