32CrNi2MoTiA protective steel

32CrNi2MoTiA protective steel is a kind of high corrosion-resistant super austenitic stainless steel. 32CrNi2MoTiA steel has much greater corrosion resistance than 316 ordinary stainless steel. However, compared with 904L (NO8904) stainless steel at high concentration, the corrosion resistance of 254SMO is slightly weaker.

Main components: carbon ≤0.02, manganese ≤1.00, nickel 17.5~18.5, silicon ≤0.8 phosphorus ≤0.03, sulfur ≤0.01, chromium: 19.5~20.5, 0.5~1.0, molybdenum 6.0~6.5, nitrogen 0.18~0.22

Corrosion resistance and main use environment

32CrNi2MoTiA protective steel is a kind of high corrosion-resistant super austenitic stainless steel. It is developed for the environment of halides and acids. It is widely used in harsh working conditions such as high concentration chloride ion medium and sea water. In various industrial occasions of acidic medium, especially in the acid containing halide, the 254 stainless steel coil is far superior to other stainless steels, and in some cases can be comparable to Hastelloy and titanium. The low carbon content and high molybdenum content make 32CrNi2MoTiA stainless steel have better pitting corrosion resistance and crevice corrosion resistance and intergranular corrosion resistance. It is a kind of high cost performance stainless steel, widely used in chemical industry, desulfurization and environmental protection at home and abroad.
